Let's enjoy pure vegetarian Indian cuisine
Ingredients:
- 4-5 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup of green peas
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until onions turn translucent.
- Add diced potatoes and stir well.
- Add all the spices (coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt) and mix well.
- Add green peas and 1/2 cup of water. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat until potatoes are tender and the water has evaporated.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves (optional).
- Serve hot with chapati or rice.
